Corbicula Anti Virus provides a GNOME HIG compliant front end for ClamAV.
Corbicula is being written in C# using Mono, Gtk# and Gnome# and looks like this:

Generally, I won't be updating this page anytime soon, if you want to following Corbicula's development you can do so at my blog.
As Corbicula is the front end for an already existing anti virus engine called ClamAV, I decided I wanted to associate my project with that. After doing some research on clam in general, I found a species called Genus Corbicula which is also known as the Asiatic clam. Deciding that Genus Corbicula would be too complicated, I chose to go with Corbicula because it had a certain ring to it.
You can obtain Corbicula's source code either by downloading the latest source tarball from the Gna! download area (there tarballs usually correspond to an Ubuntu package in the apt repository):
Or if you want to make sure you've got the latest and greatest pull the sources straight from subversion:
# svn co svn://svn.gna.org/svn/corbicula/trunk corbicula
I'm maintaining my own apt repository for Ubuntu: Breezy Badger users, you can access my repository by adding the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://dl.gna.org/corbicula/ubuntu breezy/
Or for Ubuntu: Dapper Drake:
deb http://dl.gna.org/corbicula/ubuntu dapper/
You can help by translating Corbicula into your own native language using Rosetta. You could make a HIG compliant icon. Maybe a RPM spec file, a Gentoo ebuild? If you like Corbicula please consider voting at GnomeFiles.
You can report bugs, hig violations and usability issues at the Gna! Bug Tracker. When reporting bugs, please mention which distribution you are using and which version of Mono is used ('mono --version'). Also check whether or not Terminal output is being produced by Corbicula, if so, please attach it to the bug report.
